SWING TUNES IN JUNE is back for the second year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, June 30th, 5:00-9:00 pm. Admission is $10 Adults and $5 seniors & Kids.
1930’s and 1940’s era music performed by the “Shawnee Grey Wolves Jazz Band Ensemble. Which is a 17 piece band performing music just like the era for a second year. Featuring the songs of Jimmy Dorsey and Glenn Miller, plus many others. You can sit -n- listen to the music or dance the night away to some swinging tunes. This is an event for all ages – welcomed and encouraged! We had so much fun last year and this year is going to be just as great!
Swing Tunes in June 2018 is located in the historical Shawnee Municipal Auditorium, 400 N. Bell Ave, behind the Pottawatomie County Court House and nestled in between the Shawnee Senior Center and C.O.E.D.D.

We want to encourage people of all ages to experience swing and jazz music for the first time played by a live. Or, for those who grew up listening to the likes of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, and the various big bands take a walk back down memory lane with us.
