Senior Fitness Center & Classes

Stay fit and healthy with our completely free fitness classes for adults 50 years and better. Our classes are designed to allow participants the flexibility to push themselves or dial back the intensity when needed. These classes are taught by certified instructors with a special emphasis on fall and injury prevention. Join your friends and meet new people while building your core in an upbeat and friendly environment.

Senior Citizens in a tai-chi class

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art form with slow and gentle flowing movements. The purpose of this class is to help seniors build their core strength, flexibility, and balance.

Senior Citizens in an enhanced fitness class

Enhanced Fitness

Enhanced Fitness is a series of exercises for seniors to help get them up and moving in a fun yet safe workout. These classes help build muscle tone and increase balance, reducing the chance of fall and/or injury impact.

Senior Citizens in an aerobics class

Aerobics

Aerobics classes are designed to provide physical stimulation and elevate your heart rate. These classes help build endurance, increase cardiovascular health, stimulate the mind, and help stave off some arthritis pains.

Fitness with seniors is especially important. A person who exercises regularly has a better quality of life. Whether you can make it to our program classes or you need to stay home, follow along regularly with our video exercises. These fitness videos are meant to help improve balance, reduce the pains of arthritis, and to increase your heart rate. New videos will be posted twice per month so check back in!
