| Welcome to the Shawnee Senior Center (SSC) web page. We always have new things going on, so please be sure to check back frequently for updates. Located at 401 N. Bell Street, in historic downtown Shawnee, our building is the east wing of the Shawnee Municipal Auditorium, which is also managed by the Shawnee Senior Center. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm and we are open to all those at least 50 years of age (the AARP Standard). Housed within our facility are two additional programs: Project HEART Nutrition Site, serving lunch daily at noon, and the Retired Senior & Volunteer Program (RSVP) office for Pottawatomie County. We all provide services to area seniors and look forward to your visit to our facility. Monthly calendars, special notices for upcoming meetings, events and programs will be posted on this site.
